Exact Projective Excitations of Nonautonomous Nonlinear Schrödinger System in (1 + 1)-Dimensions
With the aid of a direct projective approach, a general transformation solution for the nonautonomous nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) system is derived. Based on certain known exact solutions of the projective equation, some periodic and localized excitations with novel properties are correspondingly revealed by entrancing appropriate system parameters. The integrable constraint conditions for the ...
متن کاملIntegrable multidimensional versions of the nonlocal nonlinear Schrödinger equation
Two new integrable nonlocal Davey–Stewartson equations are introduced. These equations provide two-spatial dimensional analogues of the integrable, nonlocal nonlinear Schrö-dinger equation introduced in Ablowitz and Musslimani (2013 Phys. Rev. Lett. 110 064105). Furthermore, like the latter equation, they also possess a PT symmetry and, as it is well known, this symmetry is important for the ...

متن کاملIntegrable discretizations of derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equations
We propose integrable discretizations of derivative nonlinear Schrödinger (DNLS) equations such as the Kaup–Newell equation, the Chen–Lee–Liu equation and the Gerdjikov–Ivanov equation by constructing Lax pairs. The discrete DNLS systems admit the reduction of complex conjugation between two dependent variables and possess bi-Hamiltonian structure. Through transformations of variables and reduc...
متن کاملIntegrable Discretization of the Coupled Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations
A discrete version of the inverse scattering method proposed by Ablowitz and Ladik is generalized to study an integrable full-discretization (discrete time and discrete space) of the coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations. The generalization enables one to solve the initial-value problem. Soliton solutions and conserved quantities of the full-discrete system are constructed.
